Established nearly 100 years ago as a fabric retail shop in the market town of Clitheroe in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, we have a long and proud history in the trade. As the business grew we became importers and wholesalers, increasing our offering massively over the decades (and now over the hill – Pendle – geographically in Colne) so that we now have the largest stock-supported ranges of basics, craft and dress fabrics in the UK.
Rose & Hubble
Rose & Hubble Ltd began manufacturing high quality fabrics in 1922 and soon became known across the world for their incredible quality and setting the standards in the design and weaving industry. Since moving to Lancashire at the turn of the century we have concentrated on our most iconic plain & printed cottons including, but by no means limited to, stunning florals, wonderful children’s designs and Christmas prints ideally suited for craft and dress.
John Louden
Established in Manchester in 1926 selling men’s suiting cloth to bespoke tailors, then moving to Leeds to serve the larger garment producers there and developing new markets in ladies and childrens clothing fabrics and quilting collections. Long-standing business relationships developed with quality mills in India and Thailand which have been pivotal to our success over many decades and have resulted in the creation of fantastic ranges of stunning dress and craft fabrics.
